Determine Baby Gender Using The Shettles Methods
Dr. Landrum Shettles came up with this simple three step baby gender formula, and he felt it was the best supported by scientific evidence.
He wrote a very popular best selling book explaining his methods called How To Choose The Sex Of Your Baby which you can find by visiting my website. While Dr. Shettles success rate of 75%-90% is good, but some ebooks available today claim an even higher success rate of up to 98%.
The Shettles method is based on the fact that it’s the man’s sperm that determines whether a baby is a female or male. First understand that the woman’s egg carries only the (xx) chromosome or is (all girl) and the man’s sperm can carry the (xy) chromosome and produce a girl baby or the (yy) chromosome which will result in a boy baby.Dr Shettles found the girl sperm were physically larger, stronger, but slower swimmers. The boy sperm is smaller, more fragile (dies off quicker), and is a much faster swimmer (will win the race to fertilize the egg most of the time).
The doctor also realized that timing of sex, and the depth of penetration during this conceptual sex could help to determine if the resulting baby was a boy or girl. The mother-to-be will have to track her day of ovulation precisely in order to time conceptual intercourse precisely as well.
If you need a baby boy, don’t have sex until the day before ovulation until two days after, abstaining for the rest of the month. Sexual positions that will allow deep penetration (such as rear entry or “doggie style”) are best if wanting a boy baby. Why is this? Because of the differences in the two sperm. This timing, and deep penetration allows the faster swimming boy sperm to win the race to the fresh waiting egg, resulting in the boy baby you want.
To have a baby girl, the couple should practice sex using only shallow penetration, and not have sex at all from two days before ovulation until two days after. Here again this gives the short lived boy sperm to much time and distance to survive and allows the slow but longer lived girl sperm a time and distance advantage, and assures (hopefully) conceiving a girl baby.
Vaginal acidity also plays an important role in determining which sperm fertilizes the egg, Dr. Shettles realized. He found that a lower ph (higher acidity) favored the girl sperm and a higher ph (lower acidity) favored the survival of the boy sperm.
Although these are pretty simple concepts, you will find a guide to be indispensable! There are some ebooks offered online (you’ll find them at my site) that can answer any questions as they arise, and increase your chance of success to well over 94%!
I wish you the best of luck on your jouney, may the baby of your dreams become a reality!
